    Marrakech - Ouarzazate - Dades Valley.

    Our appointment will be at 8:00 with your driver next to your accommodation in Marrakech. From Marrakech to Dades Valley we will go through the Tizi-Ntichka pass(2260m) in the High Atlas Mountains. From Marrakech to Ouarzazate, we will enjoy the scenic route marked with colourful landscapes and tidy Berber villages. We will have a break in the old Taourit Kasbah in Ouarzazate for lunch. Then we will go south towards the Dades valley through the Valley of Roses and the fascinating oasis of Skoura. Dinner and overnight in the Dades Valley.

    Dades - Todra Gorge - Merzouga (Erg Chebbi).

    After breakfast, we will proceed from our hotel in the Dades Valley to head south to Merzouga. Our road trip will be about 8 hours appreciating the road of 1000 Kasbahs around colourful and tidy Berber villages of the Dades Valley. 45 km later, we will arrive in Tinghir, a beautiful palm grove enclosing an ancient Jewish Quarter. We will continue to Todra (Todra). Our break will be in 300m high canyons. They are a favourite spot for climbers. Then we will head south to the dunes of Erg Chebbi in the Sahara Desert of Merzouga. On the way to Erfoud, we will have a local lunch. Deeper into the desert landscape, golden sand dunes will appear in the middle of nowhere unveiling itself from the gigantic Atlas Mountains in our backs. Upon our arrival, our blue camel man will guide us through invisible pathways flowed by his camel friends to see a captivating Sunset. Our camel ride will stop in a nomad camp. This night will be mesmerising as in nomad’s millennial heritage, the evening is dedicated to storytelling along with mystic dances following Berber sensations and rhythms. We will enjoy the sound of silence during the night under the Milky Way, the Pole Stars the shooting stars. Dinner and overnight at camp in the desert.

    Merzouga - Tazarine - Agdez - Zagora.

    Early in the morning, our camel man will wake us up to not miss the sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chebbi then serve us breakfast at the camp. Then he will lead us back to the hotel at the dune line for a quick shower. Our journey will take us towards Rissani to visit a fossil workshop before continuing to the Draa Valley. Through beautiful landscapes and Berber villages, we will have our lunch break in Tazarine Nkob before continuing to Zagora via the Draa Valley and the small volcanic mountains of the Atlas. Night and dinner in Zagora in a camp or in a hotel.

    Zagora - Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - Telouet - Marrakech.

    After breakfast, we will head towards Ouarzazate via the Draa Valley. In Agdez, we will stop to visit the Tamnougalt Kasbah. Once we arrive in Ouarzazate, we will enjoy a tour of the studios of cinema known as Hollywood of Africa where many famous movies are filmed. Then we will visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a Palace of Pasha Glaoui, or the lord of the Atlas. UNESCO classifies this Kasbah as a World Heritage in 1987. The Kasbah was used as a backdrop for more than 20 films, including "Gladiator," "Indiana Jones" and "Lawrence of Arabia". Then we will take a walk to discover the Moroccan traditional architecture of the Kasbahs. Then we will continue our journey to Marrakech by the high collar and Atlas Tizi Ntichka. Ou lunch break will be in the middle of the Atlas Mountains. On the evening, we will arrive in Marrakech where we will drop you off at your hotel filled with many stories and unforgettable memories.


What to Remember

Please be sure to bring warm clothing in the winter (no sleeping bags are required), light clothing in the summer, sunscreen, a hat, good walking shoes, a flashlight, and trousers (for the camel trek). Shorts and skirts are not recommended for the trek as the saddles can cause skin irritation.
