In Fes desert Tour 2 Days, we will uncover one of the most beautiful natural scenes: the Sahara Desert. To reach our desert heaven we will have to dive into the beautiful Ziz Valley with its palm groves. Once in the gates of the Sahara, our experience will be shaded with a nomadic experience playing music and drinking tea in a Berber camp to enjoy a sunset while riding a camel in the desert.

Fes – Ifran – Azrou – Midlet – Arfoud – Merzouga
In the first day of Fes desert Tour 2 Dayss Our journey will start when with our driver at your Riad at 8:00 a.m. Then, we will leave Fes for Merzouga over the Middle Atlas Mountains through the cedar forests of Ifrane (the Switzerland of Morocco), Azrou, Midelt and crossing the Ziz Valley and its canyons towards the Sahara. We will reach Merzouga before the sunset. The hotel is on the foot of the Dunes of Erg-Chebbi where a Moroccan pot with mint tea is waiting for us. Our camel man will be waiting to carry us across the golden sandy Dunes of the Erg-Chebbi to appreciate the beauty of the sunset on the dunes. Then, we will reach the desert camp to spend a night in a Berber tent. This experience will be coloured with beautiful Berber carpets, yet not flying ones, and Moroccan spicy food. After a wonderful dinner, there will be a campfire and drums playing to learn the rhythms and the dances of the nomads.
Merzouga – Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Fes.
We will wake up early to enjoy a clear sky displaying the breath taking colours of a magnificent sunrise on the golden dunes then take a camel ride back to the hotel. After freshening up and breakfast, we will leave for Fes. Stopping at Azrou, we will have a close look at the Barbarian apes. During this day-trip, we will get a glimpse on the lakes, high cedar forests and the white peeks of the Atlas Mountains We will continue via the 'Switzerland of Morocco' to arrive early evening in Fes.
What to Remember
Please be sure to bring warm clothing in winter (no sleeping bags are required), light clothing in the summer, sunscreen, a hat, good walking shoes, a flashlight, and trousers (for the camel trek). Shorts and skirts are not recommended for the trek as the saddles can cause skin irritation.
